Dingo Labs, not only offers a designer NFT collections and $dingotoken with utilities, it also intends to spread awareness and love for the Dingo.
Dingo Labs has partnered with the Dingo Foundation and will not only help promote and raise awareness for the Dingo but will also donate to the Australian Dingo Foundation and other dingo rescue organisations.
Lyn Watson, Head of the foundation, said “we’ve been really hard up for funding due to the lockdown and lack of visitors,” but she is thrilled to partner with Dingo Labs and thinks the added global attention and donations will help her accomplish her goal of “federal protection for the species.”
Dingoes are native and a valuable piece of the Australian Ecosystem, and as an apex predator, they are vital to keeping the environment in balance. Over the years they have been hunted, trapped, poisoned, and generally thought of as pests. Lyn fears the species will eventually become extinct if protection measures are not taken soon. They have survived on the Australian continent for thousands of years but are now under great threat.
The drastic decline in numbers is due to habitat destruction, trapping, shooting, and hybridisation. The dingo population at the Dingo Sanctuary are some of the safest dingoes. Lyn said “we keep an insurance population here, which is a big responsibility.”
Recently, their most famous Dingo, Wandi, fathered a litter of pups at the Dingo Sanctuary. Wandi’s story went viral when the world learned the tale of a Dingo pup that was dropped from the talons of an eagle to land in a suburban backyard. Wandi even has his own book that soon may be incorporated into Australian schools nationwide. Lyn hopes Wandi will help the next generation learn to love and appreciate Australia’s most valuable predator, rather than try and push it to extinction.
By partnering with Dingo Labs, Lyn aims to help continue her quest to change the reputation of the dingo and preserve it for future generations. She has hopes in the future to build a visitor center and art gallery that will feature Dingo and aboriginal art for visitors to enjoy and appreciate.

A percentage of the profits from sales iof the dingo NFTs and physical keychains will be given as donations to the Australian Dingo Foundation. This will aid our partner Lyn Watson, to provide for and protect her pack, while supporting her long battle to prevent the extinction of their species. Doing so additionally protects the health of the Australian ecosystem as a whole, of which dingoes play a significantly vital role.
In addition Dingo Labs has established its professional brand withs its dingo moscots Wandi and Moko, who are beautifully illustrated characters that support and defend the crypto ecosystem.
Dingo Labs will support selected artists, including traditional aboriginal artists, to mint NFTs on the Dingo Labs platform.
With Australia as the home base of Dingo Labs, the platform will feature several Aboriginal artists and pieces. Aboriginal art dates back 40-60k years ago and because of the lack of a written language, their stories were passed down through symbols and artwork. Aboriginal Art reflects the earliest period of this ancient culture; it has both artistic and anthropological merit. This is one of the reasons it is so valued and contemporary Aboriginal art is often the only source of income for some rural communities.

The dingo is an ancient lineage of dog found in Australia and one of the most revered animals in aboriginal mythology. The Aboriginals believed the dingoes live both in the physical and mystical realms and can perceive evil spirits undetectable by man. Dingoes could never be fully tamed, but as apex predators with high intelligence, Aboriginals used dingoes to protect their homes and children and considered them equal to man. While over the years dingoes have been hunted and people have attempted to eradicate them, the world is slowly learning they are vital to the Australian ecosystem. While Dingo Labs is not Charity Token, Dingo Labs will make transparent and verifiable donations to specific registered charitable organizations that work to preserve the Dingo. "The vision of Dingo Culture is to provide the First Nations voice specifically to the Dingo debate in Australia and create change in legislation to protect culturally significant native fauna and flora" by Sonya Takau (The founder of Dingo Culture).
“Dingo Culture is in the process of campaigning for legislative changes to any Queensland government Acts that currently manage Dingoes in Queensland and that fail to include the Native Title rights of Aboriginal people and their cultural obligations to the dingo - A culturally significant totem animal. Sonya Takau (founder of Dingo Culture) heard the call to arms from social media dingo advocate groups for Aboriginal people to join and provide the Aboriginal perspective to the dingo debate in Australia, which has been ignored for over 233 years in this country. Aboriginal people across Australia hold the Dingo as sacred and culturally important, this perspective has never been considered in government and their policy making decisions. This has to change. We are the First People of this country and therefore a major stakeholder on environmental topics and should be consulted as such. Dingo Culture is founded on guts, determination and never give up the fight and we invite all Aboriginal people and communities across this land to join us. Stand and unite with us here at Dingo Culture and change the status Quo of our Dingoes in Queensland. ”
